Szawrot Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Warsaw specializing in high-end residential and commercial spaces, with a particular focus on historic buildings. It has a distinctive approach to melding the contemporary and the classic to create elegant, functional and timeless interiors.
Dr Elzbieta Szabat-Wywrot, the founder of Szawrot Design, graduated from the Acacemy of Fine Arts in Łódź (Interior Design), University of Mikolaj Kopernik in Torun (Conservation of Historical Architecture) and from the University of Warsaw (PhD in Humanities). For several years she was an Assistant Professor at Warsaw University specializing in Ancient History. In her interior design practice she benefits from her research skills, as well as her expertise in Art History, Architecture and Antiques.
